We feel a BLACK BASE COAT shows off this polish at its best. Any other base color works with this topper as well, but might not have such a dramatic effect. This polish has a color shift from BLUES, to PURPLES, to GREENS to a rainbow of colors at any given time. It also has a high shimmer. Under certain lights it has a very cool metallic look!
